Our cabinet design options are entirely flexible. We offer traditional face frame construction with overlay or inset doors as well as European frameless casework. Our cabinet sizes are consistent with industry standards with modification available for contemporary and progressive design. We also offer standard kick plate construction as well as leg options for an “unfitted” furniture affect. Our door styles are virtually unlimited with more information here.

Our cabinets are constructed with quality hardwoods in choices that range from rustic to premium grade. They are custom prefabricated with state of the art CNC equipment and finished with hand crafted quality. Sustainably grown hardwoods are standard for doors and face frames. Standard case material is formaldehyde free plywood, particle board, or wheat board panels, and is available in traditional face frame or European style frameless construction.  Standard drawer construction is dovetailed hardwood. Most of our hardwood comes from sustainably managed forests in the upper Midwest. Balancing local and best quality resources, we strive to provide the most cost effective and sustainable sourcing of material. We also can provide FSC certified hardwoods as well as sustainably grown bamboo, South American Lyptus, and other exotic woods.

Our cabinet case construction is offered in a variety of formaldehyde free panel choices. Our standard face frame construction uses 1/2″ side and bottom material with 1/4″ captured backs and 3/4″ shelves. Support material is 1/2″ plywood and all parts are rabbeted, glued, and screwed together for optimum strength.European frameless construction uses 3/4″ material for sides, bottom, and shelves with 1/4″ captured or 1/2″ applied backs and dowel joinery.

We offer a variety of standard low or no VOC finishing options in virtually unlimited color choices and a green promise. Our hand rubbed natural oil finish is a favorite, providing a penetrating protection that increases the woods natural hardness without a surface coating for a furniture look and feel.  For added protection we offer a hand rubbed polyurethane top coat or a sprayed on conversion varnish. We also offer the full spectrum of paint and glazing options for optimum interior design flexibility.

We offer both traditional and contemporary design in almost limitless door style options. Our flat and raised panel doors are available with your choice of profile details, and slab doors can be chosen with vertical, horizontal, or special grain patterns. Locally harvested hardwood is standard and options are available for sustainably grown Lyptus, bamboo, and other choices from certified forests.  Hand rubbed natural oil, no VOC paint, or low VOC water based finishes are standard.

Our hardware choices are also versatile to meet your need and budget. We offer one or two piece hidden hinge options as well as a variety of drawer guides. We offer our standard guides in three varieties - functional side/under mount design, ball bearing side mount, and soft close under mount. In addition we have a large variety of organizational options including lazy susans, trash/recycling pull outs, cutting boards, wine racks, etc. We also have knobs and pulls available in recycled metals and glass. Along with our custom finishing options, unfinished cabinets are available. Unfinished cabinets are available fully assembled or as a ready to assemble package. This option for the building professional or skilled craftsperson provides for considerable value along with optimum design flexibility for top quality green built cabinets. Shipping space and expense is also reduced with this option.

Cabinet refacing is often a best value option for updating a well worn space on remodeling projects. Outfitting quality constructed cabinet cases with new doors and drawers saves considerable material and labor, and also provides an opportunity for recycling within a functional floor plan. We provide refacing materials with the same specifications as our cabinetry.
